Rockies right-hander Chad Bettis will face righty Kyle Hendricks to open a three-game set against the Cubs on Friday on Jackie Robinson Day at Wrigley Field.
Bettis, making his third start of the season, is coming off a strong outing. He limited the Padres to two runs, one earned, in seven innings last Sunday to help the Rockies avoid a series sweep.
Hendricks will make his second start of the season and first at home. He held the D-backs to two runs on four hits and one walk with five strikeouts in 6 2/3 innings last Saturday.
