The Royals will open a four-game series against the Astros on Monday night in a rematch of last year's American League Division Series.
Chris Young starts for the Royals opposite Collin McHugh in a matchup of right-handers in the home opener at Minute Maid Park.

• McHugh, a 19-game winner last year, was shelled in his first start on Wednesday against the Yankees. He recorded just one out and gave up six runs (five earned) on three hits in a 16-6 loss. He beat the Royals in Game 1 of the ALDS and took the loss in Game 5, both in Kansas City.
• Astros manager A.J. Hinch: "I am looking forward to getting home and having a routine for a homestand. This has been a fun start to the season, but also the end of Spring Training and transitioning to two exhibition games at home and then right back out on the road trip, it'll be nice to get home and get to our fans, play at our home ballpark and develop a little bit more of a routine. It's been a little hectic getting into the season so far, but I'm sure it's that way for all the teams."
