Nicasio, Sanchez to wrap 2-game Detroit set

The Pirates and Tigers will wrap up a two-game set in Detroit on Tuesday before heading to Pittsburgh to do it again.
Juan Nicasio will make his second start as a Pirate following a strong debut. The right-hander allowed one run on two hits over six innings against the Cardinals on Wednesday.
Anibal Sanchez will take the mound for the Tigers after getting moved around after Sunday's rainout. Sanchez was up-and-down in his first start, allowing two runs and three walks in five innings, along with a hit batter, but he picked up the win.
Things to know about this game
• Tigers outfielder Justin Upton is 5-for-11 lifetime against Nicasio with three doubles and four walks. Only four current Tigers have faced Nicasio.
• Sanchez has allowed eight home runs in seven career starts against the Pirates. Almost exactly a year ago, Sanchez allowed three home runs in a loss at Pittsburgh. Infielders David Freese and Jordy Mercer are each 3-for-8 off Sanchez in their careers.
• Pirates first baseman John Jaso has reached safely in all seven games this season. The leadoff man went 2-for-4 in Monday's 7-4 win with a double and a sac fly, and his on-base percentage is nearly .400.
